Pickled Mackerel

Ingredients:
  • Filetes de caballa desespinados
  • Zanahorias en rodajas al bies
  • Ajos con la piel cortados por la mitad
  • Laurel, tomillo, granos de pimienta negra
  • Por 1 litro de aceite = ¼ l de vinagre blanco
  • Bones of mackerel fillets
  • Sliced carrots on the bias
  • Garlic with the skin cut in half
  • Bay leaf, thyme, black peppercorns
  • Per 1 litre of oil = 1/4 l of white vinegar
Instructions:
  1. Fry the carrots and garlic cloves in the oil.
  2. Add a splash of white wine, let it evaporate and add the vinegar.
  3. Pour everything on top of the mackerel fillets with the spices.
